To maintain a safe, respectful, and sustainable studio environment, all members agree to the terms outlined below:

Billing & Commitment

  • Memberships require a 3-month minimum commitment. No Deposit.
  • After the initial term, memberships continue month-to-month with 30 days’ written notice required to cancel.
  • Membership fees are non-refundable.

Studio Access

  • Access hours must be respected according to membership tier.
  • Studio access may be temporarily limited due to maintenance, firings, safety concerns, or special events.

Firing & Materials

  • Firing is charged at $0.02 per cubic inch (bisque and glaze separate).
  • Studio glazes are available for reasonable personal artistic use under a fair-use policy.
  • Large-scale commercial production may require prior approval or additional material fees.

Equipment Use

  • Studio orientation is required prior to independent equipment use.
  • Members are responsible for proper cleanup and respectful shared use of equipment.
  • Misuse of equipment may result in suspension of privileges.

Storage

  • Members are assigned one personal shelf (48” W x 16” D X 16″ h).
  • Work left beyond designated shelf space may be removed at studio discretion.
  • Abandoned work may be discarded after notice.

Guests

  • Guest passes apply to non-working visitors only.
  • Guests may not use equipment or participate in making unless enrolled in a class or event.

Community Conduct

  • The studio operates as a shared creative environment.
  • Members are expected to maintain respectful behavior toward fellow members and staff.
  • The studio reserves the right to revoke membership in cases of unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct.

Liability

  • Members assume responsibility for personal property and artwork.
  • The studio is not responsible for damage, loss, kiln accidents, glaze outcomes, or breakage during firing.
