Yes, new memberships have a minimum 3 month commitment on signing. No deposit. Memberships are charged on the first of each month. If you would like to cancel your membership anytime after your 3 month commitment, please email us at hello@ridgewoodceramics.com - we will honor your membership until the day it expires. If you need to pause your membership, we do allow a maximum 3 month pause per year as long as you notify us a month in advance.

For 8 week courses, you may drop in on a comparable class of the same semester. This make-up class is only available if there are available slots in that class. Make-up classes are subject to availability as well as approval from the instructor of the drop-in class.
We do recommend adding the tool kit when purchasing your classes, but you may also opt to bring your own tools as well as an apron to protect your clothing.
To request a cancellation for refund - please email hello@ridgewoodceramics.com. Any requests placed more than a week before the start of the first session are eligible for credit which can be used for any future classes or workshops. Any requests placed a week or less before the start date are non-refundable. No refunds will be honored once the course starts and we cannot transfer your credit to a future session.
Price includes 25 lbs of clay and fair use of our 15 in-house studio glazes. Firing fees are not included and are charged at $0.02 per cubic inch per firing (bisque and glaze firings are charged separately). Personal tools are not included; students are welcome to bring their own or purchase tools from the studio.
Students enrolled in this course receive 3 hours of independent studio time per week during designated Student Open Studio hours, allowing additional time to practice and develop skills outside of class. These hours are shared among all currently enrolled students.
Wheel use during Student Open Studio requires advance reservation and is subject to availability. Priority is given to students currently enrolled in wheel throwing courses.
