Not ready to commit to a full course but want to throw on a wheel? Join us for our Try Night! In this 2.5 hour class, you'll get experience throwing clay on a wheel.

You will leave this class with a piece! We will let the piece dry, fire it, clear glaze it, and glaze fire it for pickup about 4 weeks after the class. If you create more than one piece that you would like to keep, you can opt to add additional pieces for $10 each.

Clay and tools provided! - if you want tools to take home, please add the tool kit add-on.

This try-night is taught by our co-owner Stef Guerrero.

If you’re new to wheel throwing, this class is the perfect place to start. This six-week course is deliberately paced, allowing space to develop both technical precision and a personal aesthetic. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a collection of beautifully finished, food-safe pieces that reflect your own hand and sensibility.

No experience needed. Open to complete beginners.
25lb of clay is included. You may bring your own tools or purchase a tool kit!

Students enrolled in 6-week courses receive access to weekly studio hours for independent practice outside of class time. These hours are shared among all currently enrolled students.

Wheel use is limited and requires advance sign-up. Priority is given to students enrolled in wheel throwing courses.

This 6 week course meets every week on the same day and time (Sundays @ 5-730PM).

If you're new to wheel throwing, this class is the perfect place to start. This eight-week course is intentionally paced, giving students time to build a strong foundation in the fundamentals while developing their own creative voice. Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and individual instruction, you'll learn the core techniques of wheel throwing, trimming, surface decoration, and glazing.

By the end of the course, you'll leave with a collection of beautifully finished, food-safe ceramic pieces that reflect your own hand and sensibility.

No experience necessary. Open to complete beginners.

Price includes 25 lbs of clay and fair use of our 15 in-house studio glazes. Firing fees are not included and are charged at $0.02 per cubic inch per firing (bisque and glaze firings are charged separately). Personal tools are not included; students are welcome to bring their own or purchase tools from the studio.

This course meets once per week for eight consecutive weeks on Mondays from 6:00 PM–8:30 PM.

In this 8-week handbuilding course, students will learn the techniques behind building large-scale ceramic sculpture while exploring the rich history of figurative work in clay. Through a combination of demonstrations, guided projects, artist discussions, and individual feedback, students will learn foundational handbuilding techniques while developing their own visual language and approach to sculptural form.

The course will cover pinch, coil, and slab construction, slipping and scoring, clay compression, surface development, armatures and structural support, facial construction, texture, underglaze, glaze, and finishing techniques. Along the way, we'll examine how historical and contemporary artists have approached portraiture, identity, storytelling, and vessel forms through clay.

Artists discussed throughout the course may include Elizabeth Catlett, Raven Halfmoon, Yaritza Flores Bustos, Simone Leigh, Akinsanya Kambon, and others.

This class is open to beginners as well as students with previous clay experience. Whether you're interested in sculpture, ceramics, portraiture, or expanding your handbuilding practice, you'll leave the course with a deeper understanding of clay as a sculptural medium and a finished bust or head vessel that reflects your own ideas, influences, and creative process.

This course meets once per week for eight consecutive weeks on Wednesday from 6:00 PM–8:30 PM.

Whether you're brand new to the wheel or looking to continue building on previous experience, this all-levels wheel throwing course is designed to meet you where you are. Beginners will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing in a supportive environment, while returning students will have the opportunity to refine techniques, troubleshoot challenges, and work toward more complex forms and personal projects.

Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and individualized instruction, students will develop skills in wheel throwing, trimming, surface decoration, and glazing while building confidence and consistency at their own pace.

By the end of the course, you'll leave with a collection of beautifully finished, food-safe ceramic pieces that reflect your own interests and creative goals.

No experience necessary. Open to beginners and returning students alike.

This 8 week course meets every week on the same day at time (Tuesdays @ 6-830PM).

Clay Camp is a week-long, half-day ceramics program designed for curious, creative kids who love to make things with their hands.

Throughout the week, campers will explore a variety of ceramic techniques including handbuilding, wheel throwing, surface design, and glazing while creating both functional and sculptural projects. They may make pieces such as mugs, planters, bowls, bird feeders, wearable clay art, sculptures, and more. Every project is designed to build confidence, encourage creative problem-solving, and introduce the fundamentals of working with clay in a fun and supportive studio environment.

Our instructors will guide students step by step while leaving plenty of room for personal creativity and experimentation. Projects are adapted to each child's experience level, making the camp a great fit for both beginners and returning students.

All clay, tools, glazes, and kiln firings are included, and each camper will receive their own tool kit to use throughout the week and take home. No prior ceramics experience is necessary.

Registration Form Required
A completed Program Registration Form must be submitted before your child's first day of camp. This form will be emailed after registration is completed. For the safety of all campers, children will not be permitted to attend camp until the completed form has been received.

Registration & Cancellation Policy
A $160 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your child's spot.
The remaining tuition balance is non-refundable if cancellation is made fewer than 7 days before the first day of camp.
No make-up classes, refunds, or credits will be provided for missed camp days due to illness, vacations, scheduling conflicts, or other personal circumstances.
